WHO: The condition of al-Shifa hospital in Gaza City is dire

The Arab news agency has reported that the WHO has reported that al Shifa hospital in the west of the Gaza Strip has turned into a building full of mutilated bodies of martyrs, in a situation where the hospital used to provide the most medical services in the Gaza Strip.

The aid and treatment team of the World Health Organization was finally able to enter al Shifa hospital last Friday after failing several times to enter the hospital since March 25.

The WHO report stated that, no patient remained in the hospital and deep graves were dug outside the hospital's emergency services unit and in the surgery buildings. In addition, many bodies are buried on one side while the bodies of the victims are clearly visible.

The World Health Organization has continued to explain that it is important to protect a person's dignity even at the time of death, and that the amount of damage and disaster caused by the aggressive Israeli regime has led the medical center to fail to provide full services.

Dr. Tedros Adhanom Gebreyesus, Director General of the World Health Organization, has written on his X social network page that: WHO representatives and their partners have successfully entered al Shifa hospital which was previously the backbone of the Gaza health system. and now it has become an empty building and a human grave after the recent siege.

This is in a situation where the WHO report explains that now only 10 hospitals in Gaza provide services at a certain level among the 36 main hospitals in the area.
