Why will the US provide 26 billion dollars in new military aid to Israel?

This bill must be approved by the Senate to become law, then once signed by the President, it will become law.

The Senate's first vote on the matter will be held on Tuesday.

According to the Wall Street Journal, the largest military assistance provided by the US to Israel since the conflict began is on October 7, 2023.
