World Food Program warned that if the war in Gaza continues, the enclave will witness famine. “There is a risk of famine in Gaza unless there is enough food, clean water, medical services and sanitation,” WFP added. Children and women are the main victims of brutal Zionist attacks Previously, Carl Skau, Deputy Executive Director of the UN World Food Program, said that the situation in the Gaza Strip was increasingly sad and chaotic. Skau added,  During the seven-day lull in fighting, we conducted a survey on the food security situation in Gaza and found that half of the population in the region was hungry. "Another sad fact is that 9 out of 10 people in Gaza do not eat enough and do not receive food every day," said WFP Deputy Executive Director. He stressed that the humanitarian operation in Gaza is on the verge of collapse and in this situation it is impossible to provide aid on a regular basis. The UN also announced that more than 570,000 people, or nearly a quarter of the Gaza Strip's population, were suffering from starvation as a result of the war. UN Warns of Crisis Situation in Gaza Strip According to the association which follows up on the Integrated Food Security Phase Classification (IPC) and collaborates with the UN, the total population of two million and 200 thousand people in the Gaza Strip between December 8 and February 7 next year according to the IPC table, is in the third crisis phase or worse.
