World Health Organization: Military operation in Rafah leads to real disaster
The World Health Organization spokesman, who warned Israel against any military operation in Rafah, said that the aid reaching Gaza so far was not enough to meet the needs of the residents.
The genocidal Zionist regime demonstrated its brutality by attacking medical centers and health infrastructure. In its latest killing, this regime attacked the Shifa hospital in the Gaza Strip early on Monday morning, martyring a group of Palestinians as well as besieging hundreds of displaced people, patients, journalists and medical staff inside this hospital.
According to Arab news agency, World Health Organization Spokesperson "Margaret Harris" emphasized on Monday evening that there is no justification for the Zionist regime's attack on the "Al-Shifa" hospital in Gaza.
Emphasizing that all parties must comply with international humanitarian law and allow hospitals in Gaza to continue their activities, Harris said that Gaza is on the verge of famine and many children are dying of hunger.
The spokesperson of the World Health Organization said, "The aid arriving in the Gaza Strip so far is not enough to meet the needs of the residents of the region," without mentioning the Zionist regime's obstruction of humanitarian aid to the Gaza Strip. He stated.
Harris also avoided Zionist threats to attack Rafah and called for a ceasefire in the Gaza Strip, stating that the start of military operations in Rafah would lead to a real disaster.
Rafah is a region in the south of the Gaza Strip, where approximately 1.5% of Gaza's population lives. Israel claims that it must attack the Rafah region for final victory against Hamas.
