Ziad al-Nakhaleh added: “Al-Arouri suffered martyrdom on the path of Palestinian pride and resistance, as well as on the path of its glory and greatness, which today are manifested in the jihad and heroism of the Palestinian people in the Gaza Strip, the West Bank and beyond outside Palestine."
Meanwhile, on Wednesday morning, news sources reported that the Lebanese Islamic Resistance had struck Zionist soldier positions on the northern borders of Occupied Palestine, and the Zionist regime had responded to the attack by striking areas in southern Lebanon.
The Lebanese Islamic Resistance announced that, in support of the people of Gaza, it had attacked a group of Zionist soldiers around the Al-Maraj base with weapons, killing and injuring some.
In addition, the Lebanese Islamic Resistance targeted the Zionist city of Al-Manara in northern Occupied Palestine with an anti-tank missile.
On the other hand, news sources reported Tuesday evening that the Lebanese government has complained to the UN Security Council about the Zionist regime's terrorist attack on the southern suburbs of Beirut, which led to the martyrdom of Saleh al-Arouri, deputy head of the Hamas politburo, and six of his associates.
Najib Mikati, Prime Minister of the Lebanese Government held a conversation with Foreign Minister Abdullah Bouhabib, and both sides complained to the Security Council regarding the terrorist attack of the Zionist regime on the southern suburbs and the recent aggressive actions of the Zionist regime against this country.
