Attacks by Iraqi resistance groups on US military bases in Syria and Iraq have become more frequent
A US military official admitted that since October 17, 2023, there have been more than 118 attacks on US bases in Syria and Iraq.
According to Al-Mayadeen TV channel, from October 17 last year to the present, the Islamic resistance of Iraq attacked American bases in Ain al-Asad, near Erbil airport, Harir Iraq and Kharab al-Jir, Al-Shadadi, Al-Tanf, Al-Rimilan, Al-Maliki, military bases near the Koniko and Omar oil fields in the village of Sabz. It has repeatedly struck Syria with missiles and suicide drones. The American network CNN, predicting an increase in the likelihood of American military casualties, said this points to a new and troublesome external crisis for the United States, especially in the midst of efforts to re-elect Joe Biden as president. The Iraqi resistance's emphasis on continuing attacks comes as, since the early weeks of the Al-Aqsa Storm battle, the Iraqi resistance has taken action in support of Palestine and attacked American bases in Iraq and Syria with missiles and drones, so that the number of these attacks has increased to more than 100 operations until Israel targeted Eilat, overlooking the Red Sea, and its gas facilities in the Mediterranean region with long-range missiles and drones. An Iraqi security source reported massive losses and destruction inflicted on U.S. occupation forces' bases in Syria following successive attacks by Islamic Resistance forces, and stated, "Air defenses by U.S. elements were unable to prevent successive missile and drone attacks by Islamic Resistance forces against bases in Syria." Resistance missiles strike fear among the American occupiers as their air defense systems cannot stop the attacks of the Resistance forces.
