The Kingdom of Bahrain sold an island to the Zionist regime so that it might be used as a safe haven for Jews in the event of war
Owing to its internal weakness and lack of support from the Bahraini nation, the Bahraini regime has resorted to establishing diplomatic ties with the occupying Zionist regime, hoping to gain more support from the West. Bahraini despots signed a treacherous agreement with Tel Aviv establishing official relations in September 2020, infuriating Bahrainis and the Muslim Ummah. Bahrainis have invariably evinced their strong opposition to normalising relations with the Zionist regime, and their religious figures have warned of the repercussions of the Al Khalifa regime's sinister collaboration with the Zionists on Bahrain and the entire Middle East region; however, the Bahraini regime's foreign policy runs counter to the will of the people.
In addition to continuing its ties with the Zionist regime, the Al Khalifa regime has further fueled social discontent by making more concessions to Islam's enemies. Recently, it came to light that the Al Khalifa family sold an island to the Israeli government.
In this regard, the Hebrew daily Maariv reported in March 2022 that Uri Steiner, of Israeli firm Himnota, which is owned by the Jewish National Fund (JNF) and has long been used by the apartheid Zionist regime for expropriating Palestinian lands and whitewashing Israel's war crimes, purchased a 9,554-square-meter Bahraini island for $21.5 million in an auction organised by the "Arabic Auction Company" to be used by Jews in case of the outbreak of war or any natural disaster.
Avery Schneier, who is on the board of directors of Himnota and a staunch advocate of the "Blue and White Party," said talks will be held with the "friendly" Bahraini government to transfer sovereignty over the island to Israel. Schneier also claimed he seeks to construct a fifty-story skyscraper on the Bahraini island and employ it as a refuge for evacuated Zionists in the case of a natural catastrophe or military conflict.
Certain Arab regimes falsely believe they have no option than normalizing relationship with Tel Aviv due to their political fragility, while the Zionists offer themselves as the most powerful middlemen in gaining Western support.
