A very painful transition from historical Armenia to real Armenia is taking place
Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan presented what processes are taking place in Armenia and why these processes cause shocks. The Prime Minister also presented the mission of the "Civil Agreement" party in all this.
At the session of the initiative group of the "Civil Contract" party in Gyumri, the Prime Minister considered it important to talk about these processes.
"In my opinion, it is very important to record what is happening to us. For example, I spend a lot of time clarifying this issue, because it should be noted that what happened to us, many events and situations are shocking for us. they shock both the state and each of us personally. But it is very important to understand what is happening and why.
Two days ago, a question and answer session of the National Assembly took place, and one of the deputies used the phrase historical Armenia in his question, and I responded that I am not the prime minister of historical Armenia, I am the prime minister of real Armenia, this Armenia. And I want to share with you the idea that, in my opinion, the following is happening: first of all, in our minds, in some sense, a very painful transition from historical Armenia to real Armenia is taking place," the Prime Minister emphasized.
The Prime Minister considered it important to face this process as the ruling power in Armenia.
"We need to understand this process and we need to talk about this process among ourselves first and then talk to the people," said Pashinyan.
According to the Prime Minister, the mission of the "Civil Contract" party is to guide and ensure the transition of the Armenian people and the state from historical Armenia to real Armenia and ensure the institutional development of real Armenia.
"I think that if we do not make this choice and historical Armenia is the motivation for our actions, I am afraid that we will increase the probability that real Armenia will become historical Armenia," concluded Pashinyan.
