The Chairman of the African Union warned of the critical situation caused by the war in Sudan.According to Al Jazeera TV channel, the head of the Union of the Comoros and the current chairman of the African Union, Azali Assoumani, warned: "The war in Sudan is dangerous and must be stopped."

"This war will affect the entire African continent," he added.Assumani further stressed: "Both conflicting parties in Sudan must know that there is no winner in this war and it must be stopped."

Recall that on April 15, 2023, an armed conflict for power began in Sudan between the Armed Forces of the Sudan (SAF) and the Rapid Reaction Forces (RRF). As a result, at least 1000 people died.

This conflict has forced about a million Sudanese to leave their homes and become refugees. In addition, according to international organizations, about 25 million Sudanese are in need of humanitarian assistance. This makes up half of the country's population.
