The political office of Yemen’s Ansarallah movement has condemned Israel’s military actions in Gaza, Lebanon, and the West Bank, attributing them to US support.
In a statement, the group criticized the latest US government position on the displacement of Palestinians, arguing that it enables Israel to achieve objectives it could not secure through military force.
The statement also accused Israel of violating international law, particularly in Lebanon and Gaza, due to the backing it receives from Washington.
Ansarallah reaffirmed the legitimacy of Palestinian and Lebanese resistance against Israeli actions, condemning the continued violations of the ceasefire in southern Lebanon and the increasing violence in the West Bank.
The group argued that Israel’s escalation is an attempt to undermine the perceived successes of resistance forces in Gaza and Lebanon. Additionally, they described the return of Palestinian refugees to Gaza as a symbol of resilience and a challenge to Israeli occupation.
Since October 7, 2023, Israel has conducted extensive military operations in Gaza with full US support, according to the statement. Ansarallah accused Israel of committing genocide and using banned weapons, claiming that after 15 months and 47,000 Palestinian deaths, Israel was ultimately forced into a ceasefire.
The first phase of the ceasefire agreement between Hamas and Israel began on January 19 and is expected to last six weeks.
