Arab leaders condemn Israel's attacks on Gaza
Arab leaders have called for the resumption of peace efforts between Israel and Palestine to end the Israeli occupation and resolve the decades-long conflict between the two sides, while the illegal Israeli regime continues its brutal attacks against the people of the West Bank.
The call was made yesterday at the Peace Conference in Cairo, in the capital of Egypt attended by more than ten leaders of countries and two from Arab and Western countries, representatives of the European Union, and various international organizations. The leaders of the Arab countries have also condemned Israel's attacks on Gaza in the past two weeks, stressing the need for an immediate cessation of hostilities in the besieged Gaza area in order to stop the atrocities committed by Israel against civilians. The President of Egypt, Abdel Fattah El-Sisi, has proposed a road map to end the current human crisis in Gaza and revive the peace process between the Palestinians ruled by Israel. Al Sisi said: "The only solution to the Palestinian issue is to find justice through fair decisions based on the rights and wishes of the Palestinian people," and added that:
There is a need to prevent further expansion of the current conflict that could endanger regional and international stability. For his part, King Abdullah of Jordan has denounced the international silence in the face of Israel's attacks against the people of Gaza, stressing that forcing the Palestinians to leave their homes and their country is a war crime according to international law. Israel continues to kill innocent citizens of Gaza Saudi Arabia's Foreign Minister, Prince Faisal bin Farhan, has also opposed "Israel's efforts to forcibly evacuate the people of Gaza", and said that Riyadh is calling on the international community to force it. Israel obeys international law. At the same time, the Palestinian Ministry of Health in the Gaza Strip has announced in recent statistics that the number of martyrs killed by Israel in Gaza has increased to 4,385, of which 1,756 are children and 976 are women.
