The Struggle Workers' Front Union (PAME) also supported the 24-hour strike called by the Confederation of Civil Servants' Unions (ADEDY). The date of the strike, which was organized to demand improved economic conditions for employees, was chosen as the anniversary of the train accident that occurred in the Tempi region near Larisa last year, which resulted in the death of 57 people. Activists demanded that the government take measures against the cost of living, increase salaries and increase the number of personnel in the public sector. On the other hand, activists also demanded that the train accident that took place in Tempi on February 28 last year be clarified and those responsible be punished. Some demonstrators carried Palestinian flags and chanted "Freedom for Palestine" slogans.
