EU, Borrell proposes joint arms purchases for Kiev

BRUSSELS - European Union High Representative for Foreign Policy and Security Josep Borrell said during an informal meeting of EU defense ministers they proposed to consider his proposal for urgent support to the Kiev regime with weapons. The European diplomat presented to the defense ministers of the EU countries a proposal developed jointly with the European External Action Service (EEAS), the European Defense Agency (EDA) and the European Commission.
