Georgia has not ruled out its future participation in the "3+3" format

Deputy Speaker of the Georgian Parliament Gia Volski did not rule out the possibility of the country's participation in the work of the "3+3" regional consultative platform in the future.

" In the future, this is possible, but now there is no such issue, there are no prerequisites for Georgia's interest and willingness for economic and political participation in that format," Volski told reporters .

Volsky called for monitoring the processes. He also asked how Georgia can participate in a format where ties, including economic ones, are not established (we are talking about Armenia and Azerbaijan).

It should be recalled that the six-party (Russia, Turkey, Iran, Azerbaijan, Armenia, and Georgia) format of consultations on cooperation in the South Caucasus and the Middle East was proposed by the Presidents of Azerbaijan and Turkey, Ilham Aliyev and Recep Erdogan, at the end of 2020. Three meetings have already taken place, in which, however, Georgia did not participate.
