Germany: Government's anti-immigration plan approved in parliament

According to the German newspaper "Die Site" the vast majority of parliamentarians voted in favor of the relevant federal government bill. Based on this plan and to facilitate the deportation of immigrants, the countries of Moldova and Georgia were classified as safe countries of origin. If the Federal Council follows Parliament's decision, this plan can be implemented. The aim of this measure is to limit the growing number of asylum seekers. By registering a country as a safe country of origin, the asylum application of people of this nationality is processed more quickly and therefore earlier expulsion is possible.

This was reiterated by the German Interior Minister, Nancy Faeser, speaking to the local media. Now Berlin is waiting for Rome to "come to meet us again" to fulfill "its commitments", Faeser said. While Italian Prime Minister Meloni is calling for global war on human traffickers at the UN and the Government is drawing up a plan to build detention centers for repatriations in every Region, it is a completely different tune that is being sung by President Sergio Mattarella together with German counterpart Frank-Walter Steinmeier in Piazza Armerina in Sivilis, after the visit to the 'Don Bosco 2000' Association which deals with reception and integration. Perhaps not random coincidences which serve to establish some fixed points, on which the two presidents agree.
