Antonio Guterres, Secretary General of the United Nations has called on the international community to take action as soon as possible to deal with climate change. The Secretary General of the United Nations has said in a message he sent on the X network that: "If there is a time to gather together and make efforts to deal with the climate, it is now."
Guterres has emphasized the importance of the coming time, saying that the next 18 months are a very bad time in the fight to prevent global warming by 1.5 degrees Celsius to prevent the worst effects of climate change. "Together let's create a healthy planet and a safe future for all of us", said the Secretary General of the United Nations.
The United Nations has given priority to efforts to combat climate change, encouraging countries to commit to achieving greater goals under the Paris Agreement.
The global goal is to limit global warming to 1.5C to prevent adverse effects on the environment.
