Hamas condemns the formation of a racist settler militia

AL QUDS-Hamas condemned on Wednesday Zionist Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu's go-ahead for the formation of a "settler militia" by his National Security Minister Itamar Ben-Gvir. Hamas is referring to the National Guard force that right-wing extremist Ben-Gvir wants to form and which will be under its control. “The formation of a racist and extremist militia that aims to further repress our people in occupied Palestine in 1948 [Israel] is in line with previous racist decisions legalizing colonial outposts, increasing armed incursions into al-Aqsa mosque and empowering Ben-Gvir to carry out more massacres,” said Jihad Taha, Hamas official quoted by Infopal. The existence of a "settler militia" managed directly by Ben-Gvir, he told Quds Press, "means more raids and searches of Palestinian homes in [Israel] without court orders."
