Iraq, PMU, US occupation troops are a legitimate target
A senior official of 'Harakat Hezbollah al-Nujaba', part of the Iraqi Popular Mobilization Forces (PMU, Arabic: Hashd al-Shaabi), has denounced the US military presence in the Arab country, saying US soldiers are a target legitimate throughout the West Asian region as long as they remain beyond Iraqi soil.
The official spokesman of the Iraqi resistance, Nasr al-Shammari, said that his movement has not made any agreement with the US contingent for retaliatory operations against their soldiers. “Harakat Hezbollah al-Nujaba does not adhere to any political agreement that includes a ceasefire or an easing of tensions with the American occupation forces.”“
Our official position regarding the deployment of US forces in Iraq has not changed at all. We reiterate once again that the occupation forces are a legitimate target in Iraq and elsewhere in the West Asia region as long as they are present in Iraqi territories,” Shammari said.
