Ireland criticises international silence on Israeli crimes

The Irish Prime Minister reacted to the number of martyrs in Gaza exceeding 40 thousand, saying that this was a shame for the world.

According to the latest statistics from the Gaza Ministry of Health, since the beginning of the Gaza war on October 7, the number of martyrs in the Gaza Strip has reached 40,500 and the number of injured has reached 92,401. 33 percent of these are children, 8.6 percent are elderly and 18.4 percent are women.

While the statistics announced regarding the martyrs of the Gaza Strip are about the martyrs who have been counted and buried, thousands of people in this region are buried under the rubble of collapsed buildings and are listed as missing.

Irish Prime Minister "Simon Harris" wrote in a message on his X social media account:

“International diplomacy has failed to protect innocent children, some of whom are just days old.”

Harris stressed the need to end the Zionist regime's bombing of Gaza and the release of prisoners by Hamas, and called on the European Union to reconsider its cooperation agreement with the Zionist regime.

More than 10 months have passed since the Israeli regime's offensive, with much of the Gaza Strip destroyed by a crippling siege and denial of food, clean water and medicine.
