Italian police clash with Palestinian supporters
During a demonstration in Italy, Palestinian supporters protested the presence of Zionist exhibitors at an international exhibition and clashed with police.
Anti-Zionist protesters in Italy clashed with police after demonstrating against regime exhibitors at an international jewelry exhibition, RT news agency reported. A pre-planned march of protesters against the Zionist regime led to a clash between Italian police and hundreds of people holding banners in support of Palestine during an international jewelry exhibition in the city of Vicenza. Police used water cannons against hundreds of protesters holding signs reading "Free Palestine" and "Stop the bombing of Gaza." This action was taken at a time when the exhibition had more than 1,300 exhibitors from more than 40 countries in just one day since its opening, and the Zionist regime also had a stand at the exhibition. An Italian official told AFP that the clashes took place a few kilometers from the exhibition and had no impact on the exhibition, but the official declined to provide information about the presence of the Zionist regime at the exhibition.
