A delegation of African heads of state will arrive in Moscow to discuss a peace plan for Ukraine, but the date has not yet been set. Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov said this after a phone call in recent days between Russian President Vladimir Putin and South African President Cyril Ramaphosa. During the conversation, Peskov stressed, quoted by the Interfax agency, Ramaphosa said that Africa "deems it necessary to make his voice heard in international efforts to resolve the situation in Ukraine". African countries have so far maintained a neutral position in the conflict in Ukraine, refusing to join the sanctions against Moscow.
