Latvia continues to provide military assistance to Ukraine
The President of Latvia called for continued military support for Ukraine by Western countries under the pretext of war in this country. According to Euronews, Edgars Rinkevičius called on European countries to continue to support Ukraine by supplying Kyiv with more and more necessary weapons. Noting that Western support for Ukraine was still insufficient, he called on Western states to respond to the request of Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky to send more weapons. This statement comes as America and Europe have provided Kyiv with billions of dollars in financial aid and weapons under the pretext of the war in Ukraine since the start of the war in Ukraine. The war in Ukraine, with all its vast political, military, economic, social and even cultural consequences, has been going on for 21 months. European and Western countries, especially the United States, having increased sanctions pressure on the Russian Federation and supplied Kyiv with all types of light and heavy weapons, have not taken any initiatives to resolve the conflict.
