Maduro calls on Christians to condemn genocide in Gaza
Venezuela's president addressed Christians in the country and around the world to condemn the massacre in Gaza.
Russia Today reported that Venezuelan President Nicolás Maduro on Tuesday (24/10/2023) called on Christians around the world to oppose the genocide of the Palestinian people by the Zionist regime and also called for an international meeting to restore Palestinian land, independence and sovereignty. "I ask my Christian brothers and sisters in the Catholic and Orthodox churches to speak out and condemn the genocide of Gaza," Maduro said. "The genocide must stop and a world meeting must be held as soon as possible to restore the rights of the Palestinian people regarding the creation of peace, land, independence and their country," he said.
Nicolas Maduro, President of Venezuela, alluded to the Al-Aqsa Storm operation launched by the Palestinian resistance against the Zionist regime, and announced that Israel committed genocide against the Palestinian people. Based on Palestinian media reports, the number of victims of the Zionist regime's aggression in Gaza reached 5,087 people, including 2,055 children, and 1,119 women, and 15,273 people were injured.
