MSF: 13 children die every day in a camp in Darfur, Sudan
Médecins Sans Frontières (MSF) has stated that 13 children die every day due to malnutrition in a refugee camp in Sudan.
Claire Nicolet, Head of the Community's Emergency Department in Sudan, said one child dies every two hours in the Zamzam camp in the north of Darfur region, with 300,000 refugees. He said, "Children who have not lost their lives due to severe malnutrition in the camp are at risk of dying within three to six weeks if they are not treated."
