Occupied territories, violation of rights of Palestinian prisoners

Israeli forces (IOF) raided cells in Ashkelon and Gilboa prisons and ... transferred several Palestinian prisoners to other prisons. According to the Palestinian Commission on the Affairs of Inmates and Ex-Inmates, the Israel Prison Service (IPS) transferred all Palestinian prisoners from Ashkelon to Nafha prison. Israeli forces also raided cells at Gilboa prison and transferred some prisoners to interrogation rooms.

The commission said IPS forces raided the cells of prisoners affiliated with the Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine (PFLP) and transferred four of them to interrogation rooms. The Commission added that PFLP officer Wael al-Jaghoub would be transferred to solitary confinement in another prison. Since Itamar Ben Gvir was appointed security minister, IPS has transferred hundreds of Palestinian prisoners to other prisons and taken tough measures against them.
