Sanders criticizes arms sales to Israel

American Senator Bernie Sanders shared the Washington Post newspaper's news about arms sales to Israel on his social media account. Sanders criticized the US for sending thousands of bombs at the same time, despite his call for Israel to stop targeting civilians.

According to Washington Post, based on information provided by Pentagon and State Department officials, the Biden administration has approved the shipment of new warplanes and bombs to Israel. It was stated that this shipment was carried out without notifying Congress and without being announced to the public. The US administration approved the sending of 25 F-35 fighter jets, aircraft engines, 1800 MK84 unguided bombs and 500 MK82 unguided bombs to Israel.

Sanders described this situation as "disgusting" and said, "No more bombs for Israel." He made statements as follows. Emphasizing that the US should end arms shipments to Israel, Sanders stated that complicity should end.
