Sit-in by Palestinian supporters at metro stations in the Netherlands
Palestinian supporters staged a sit-in at major train stations in the Netherlands in a show of solidarity with the Palestinian people and support for a ceasefire in the Gaza Strip.
Let us recall that in recent months, supporters of the Palestinian people around the world, staging demonstrations, condemned the crimes of the Zionist regime against the residents of the Gaza Strip. According to Arabnews agency, participants in the anti-Israel sit-in at Utrecht Central Station (in the Netherlands) held Palestinian flags and banners reading “Stop bombing children and hospitals,” “Justice for Palestine,” and “Truce now.” The protesters, also expressing dissatisfaction with the actions of the Dutch government, accused it of supporting the actions of the Zionist regime in the region. Protests against the crimes of the Zionist regime continue as tens of thousands of Israeli settlers demonstrated in Tel Aviv in recent days to also demand the overthrow of Benjamin Netanyahu's cabinet and the acceleration of new elections. According to the Financial Times, opposition leaders of the Zionist regime and some members of the Israeli military cabinet have demanded a review of the war in Gaza. In addition, the American newspaper The Wall Street Journal wrote that differences between members of the Israeli regime's military cabinet are becoming apparent at the "decisive stage" of the war. This is considered a threat to weaken Israel's military strategy. Let us recall that on October 7, 2023, with the full support of Western countries, the Zionist regime began massacres in the Gaza Strip and the West Bank against the defenseless and oppressed people of Palestine.
