The meeting of the Sudanese political and civil groups ended yesterday in Cairo, Egypt, where Sudanese parties discussed ways to resolve the internal crisis in the country, while some groups refused to sign the final statement of the meeting in Cairo.

After the two-day meeting ended, the leaders of some political groups announced that they refused to sign the final statement because it did not agree with the opinions and amendments they proposed.

The head of the Sudan Liberation Movement and the governor of Darfur state, Minni Arko Minnawi, has said that he has refused to sign the statement because it refrained from condemning what he called "a serious crime by the Rapid Support Forces (RSF), such as what happened in El Fasher, El Geneina, and Wad Al Noura area in Al Jazeera Province.”

For his part, the official spokesperson of the movement for Freedom and Change (Democratic Camp), Mohamed Zakaria, has said that some political parties have refused to sign the final statement of the meeting in Cairo, which avoided condemning the crimes of the RSF in the ongoing war in the country Sudan.

The meeting called to find a solution to the internal crisis in Sudan was also attended by representatives of regional and international organizations.

In one part of his speech, the Minister of Foreign Affairs, Immigration and Foreign Affairs of Egypt, Badr Abdelatty said: "Any real political solution to the Sudanese crisis must involve Sudanese of all cadres and groups and the crisis will be resolved by The Sudanese themselves.
