The Supreme Leader of the Islamic Revolution, honoring the memory and names of the martyrs and imams of the martyrs and wishing the Iranian people to benefit from two sources: nature and spirituality, took a quick look at the sweetness and bitterness of 1402, and said: “Among the sweets and good news of the past year, it can be noted significant scientific and technological achievements, infrastructural production, epic human presence at various gatherings, especially on Quds Day and 22 Bahmanah, safe and secure conduct of the March elections, and international mobility of government in various economic and political fields."
Among the bitter news of 1402, he named the economic and livelihood problems of the people and added: “The bitter incident in Kerman on the anniversary of the death of the martyr Soleimani, the flood in Sistan and Baluchistan and the incidents that occurred with members of the security forces in recent months were among other bitter incidents of the past year, but the most bitter incident should be considered the incident in Gaza."
Referring to last year's slogan, the Supreme Leader of the Islamic Revolution assessed the work done in the field of curbing inflation and production growth as good, but not as good as we would like, emphasizing that one should not expect the full implementation of such an important issue within a year, said: “In In the new year, the country's main issue remains “the economy.”
Ayatollah Khamenei emphasized: “A summary of the opinions of economic experts leads us to the conclusion that the key to solving the country’s economic problems, including “inflation”, “employment” and “the value of the national currency”, is the issue of “production” and for this reason, in the last few years the emphasis is on production."
He added: “Accordingly, in the new year we are also focusing on product output and expect it to jump.”
The Supreme Leader of the Revolution, emphasizing that a leap in production is impossible without the participation of people in the economy and production sector, pointed out that obstacles to people's participation in the production sector must be removed and the greater capabilities of the people must be activated.
He called 1403 the year of the “Leap of Production with the Participation of the People” and expressed the hope that with proper planning by economists, with the cooperation of specialists and the practical participation of economic figures, the ground would be created for the implementation of this slogan in the best possible way.
