The European Union changed its position in defense of Gaza

After thirty-seven days have passed since the start of mass killings against the defenseless people of Gaza, the head of foreign policy of the European Union has called for an immediate end to the war in Gaza. The European Union, which has been supporting the Zionist regime since the beginning of the war, has now been forced to change its position and take humanitarian measures due to the increasing number of innocent people's deaths and the continued violence and terror of Tel Aviv against the Palestinians. Calling for a cessation of hostilities to save the lives of innocent civilians is one of those measures. According to Al-Jazeera's, Josep Burrell said on Monday at a press conference with European foreign ministers in Brussels that the union supports the issue of an immediate cessation of hostilities in Gaza. Josep Burrell, head of foreign policy of the European Union The head of foreign policy of the European Union has said:

Brussels wants an immediate cessation of hostilities and the creation of humanitarian corridors to deal with the dire situation facing the citizens of Gaza due to Israeli attacks. The European Union had previously called for an end to the war due to humanitarian issues, but now it is advocating for an immediate cessation of hostilities, where these policies indicate a major change in the EU's policies regarding Gaza. Despite this, Burrell added that the European Union does not want a unilateral ceasefire and that the final position of the union will be announced after his visit next week to the occupied lands of the West Bank of the Jordan River where he will meet and talk with the rulers of Tel Aviv and the government of the Palestinian Authority. European Union leaders are speaking cautiously about the cessation of mass killings against the people of Gaza, at a time when the number of Palestinian martyrs since October 7 has reached 11,240 and 29,000 wounded.
