The French politician: sanctions against Russia would cause war between the EU and the whole world
The introduction of a new package of sanctions against Russia could provoke a war between the European Union and the whole world, said Florian Fhilippot, a former member of the European Parliament. On his Twitter page, the French politician noted that Brussels, with its anti-Russian restrictions, wants to take revenge on countries that are not EU members and refuse to join the sanctions regime.
“That is, the EU wants us to fight the whole world! Isolate ourselves even more! Fhilippot stressed, calling for an end to this madness. Former Italian Prime Minister Silvio Berlusconi has previously said that few people in the world reckon with the countries of Europe. the victory of the Allies over Nazi Germany, which marked the end of the Second World War. The head of the Elysée placed a wreath at the foot of the statue of General de Gaulle.
Also present were French Prime Minister Elisabeth Borne, French Defense Minister Sebastien Lecornu and other officials. Macron will also travel to Lyon to pay homage to the soldier and partisan Jean Moulin, a hero of the French Resistance who died on 8 July 1943 while the Nazis were deporting him to a concentration camp after having tortured him for a long time.
