The Italian embassy in Sudan is now in Addis Ababa
The Italian ambassador in Sudan, Michele Tommasi, together with some collaborators and two units of the Carabinieri, landed today in the morning in Addis Ababa where, at our diplomatic representation in Ethiopia, the Italian Embassy will be temporarily reconstituted in Khartoum.
The Farnesina made it known. "Ambassador Tommasi and our staff will continue to ensure the full operation of the headquarters from Addis Ababa, to best guarantee Italy's contribution to Sudan's peacemaking efforts," said Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Antonio Tajani.
