The US government previously announced in its report that due to rising housing prices and reduced aid during the Corona period, the number of homeless people in the country has reached its highest level since 2007 and began collecting statistics on homeless people.

Marcia Fudge, the US Secretary of Housing and Urban Development, wrote on the X social network (formerly Twitter) that these data show the urgent need for solutions and that there should be no homelessness in the United States.
