The Americans believe that the Zionist regime took excessive measures in response to the Al-Aqswa hurricane operation on October 7. The results of the Wall Street Journal opinion poll conducted from February 21 to 28 show that, day by day, the American public sympathizes with the Palestinians in Gaza and the citizens who lost their homes and were evicted from their homes due to the Zionist attacks.

The results of the opinion poll show that approximately 42 percent of those who participated believe that Israel has crossed the line in its attacks in Gaza. 19 percent believe that Israel should take more action; and 24 percent say that Israel's response to Hamas was sufficient and balanced.

In another poll conducted nationwide in the United States at the end of January 2024, it was found that half of Americans believe that the Zionist regime is committing genocide in Gaza.

It seems that, the continuation of the war in Gaza by the Zionist regime of Israel and the increase in the number of martyrs and wounded Palestinians living in Gaza, which has exceeded 100,000 people, has led even many people in the United States, which is considered to be a strategic ally of Israel, to come forward and criticize the killing machine of the regime of Zionists who continue to commit genocide against the oppressed people of Gaza for the fifth month now. In addition, many demonstrations have been held in different cities of the United States to support the Palestinian people and condemn the crimes of the Zionist regime against the people of Gaza.

The other day, hundreds of people marched and gathered in front of the Israeli embassy in Washington, USA to condemn the genocidal war being carried out by the Zionist regime against the Palestinians in the Gaza Strip, occupied Palestine.

The important point is that, despite the position of the current President Joe Biden and his government of unconditional and mutual support for Israel and making efforts to blame the Palestinians, especially the Hamas Movement, for starting the current war in Gaza, but even politicians of the United States, they are well aware of the aggressive and aggressive identity of the Zionist regime and the decades-long oppression of the Zionists against the Palestinians that has continued until now by killing and looting their lands and thus they have come out publicly and criticized it.

In that field, Jeff Merkley, a member of the Democratic Party in the United States Senate has emphasized that the United States is involved in the famine and human disaster in Gaza and called on the Biden administration to separate from the Zionist regime and send aid directly to The Gaza Strip. Jack Reed, Chairman of the Committee on Security Forces in the United States Senate and Senator Angus King, a member of the committee, have also asked the President of the United States to send as soon as possible a military ship for hospital services in the Gaza Strip to guarantee the arrival of aid. of medical treatment for the residents of the Gaza Strip.

Increasing internal pressure from people, some institutions and some American politicians against the Biden administration on the one hand, and great concern about losing the votes of President Biden's supporters in the next election in November this year (2024) and abandoning Biden on the other hand, it is something that has led Washington's top officials to come forward and want to make at least some obvious changes in relation to the dire situation in Gaza.

In relation to the issue, the Vice President of the United States Kamala Harris has described the situation in the Gaza Strip as inhumane and emphasized the urgency of an immediate ceasefire in the Strip. In addition, he has asked the Zionist administration to allow more aid to enter the area "without any excuses".

The important point is that, despite the fact that the Biden government has repeatedly wanted to change the situation in Gaza and send aid to the oppressed people of the area, but it has not put any great pressure on Tel Aviv and has even continued to use the regime's weapons to develop sabotage and attacks against Gaza.

In addition to this, in a surprising claim, the Biden government has denied the occurrence of genocide in the Gaza Strip, while regional and international organizations and various assessments have confirmed it.

There is no doubt that, the continuation of the current performance of the Biden government in relation to the war in Gaza along with its support for the Zionist regime of Israel will lead to a decrease in the votes of Joe Biden in the next presidential election of the United States from the supporters of the Democratic Party .
