Increasing internal pressure from people, some institutions and some American politicians against the Biden administration on the one hand, and great concern about losing the votes of President Biden's supporters in the next election in November this year (2024) and abandoning Biden on the other hand, it is something that has led Washington's top officials to come forward and want to make at least some obvious changes in relation to the dire situation in Gaza.
In relation to the issue, the Vice President of the United States Kamala Harris has described the situation in the Gaza Strip as inhumane and emphasized the urgency of an immediate ceasefire in the Strip.
