The Russian border guards were unable to prevent the Inner Hand incident

 During the recent aggression by Azerbaijan in the area of ​​Nerkin Hand settlement of Syunik marz, the EU observation mission in Armenia did not have access to that area. Russian border guards are present in that area, and they could not prevent Azerbaijan's aggression. Secretary of the Security Council of Armenia Armen Grigoryan said this in a conversation with journalists. "When the last incident took place in Inner Hand, the EU observation mission did not have access there, unlike the Russians, and it is Russia that is present there and could not prevent the incident," said Grigoryan. According to the Secretary of the Security Council, it is clear that the EU civilian mission has a role of stability in our region, so the Armenian side fully supports the activities of the European observers and will continue to support it in the future. Grigoryan said that the Armenian side is aware that the Russian border guards prevented the EU observers from entering the Inner Hand, and has already addressed the issue. Azerbaijan opened fire for several hours in the morning of February 13 in the direction of the Armenian positions located in the area of ​​Nerkin Hand settlement of Syunik region, as a result of which Armenia has 4 dead and 1 wounded.
