The UN expert wants Israel to be restricted in arms & oil

The United Nations Special Expert on the Occupied Palestinian Territory, Francesca Albanese, has called on the international community to impose an oil and arms embargo against the Zionist regime of Israel, which continues the genocide in the Gaza Strip.

Speaking on Thursday, Albanese has criticized the United States and other Western countries for being involved in the crime of Israeli genocide by using the regime for military aid and weapons.

He added that: "What I can tell you for sure is that this aid is a clear violation, it is a clear violation of the interim order of the International Court of Justice (ICJ) which ordered the cessation of acts that may amount to genocide and also called for extradition Palestinians humanitarian aid without any restrictions."

In January, following a case filed by South Africa, the United Nations High Court ordered the Israeli government to take all measures to prevent the genocide in Gaza.

Albanese has also said that the European Union should impose restrictions on the Israeli regime and not only the extremist settlers. He has said that the Zionist settlers are carrying out their crimes as part of Israel's policy of looting the historical lands of Palestine. Elsewhere in his explanation, the United Nations expert said that the countries of the world must do everything they can to prevent genocide against the Palestinians.
