Josep Borrell has said that; The EU has made "good consideration" of the court's decision and wants its positions to be supported internationally.

He said: "In a world where international law is frequently violated, it is our moral duty to affirm our unwavering commitment to all ICJ decisions in a consistent manner and regardless of the subject matter."

The EU supports the ICJ ruling on Israel's illegal occupation of Palestinian lands

Josep Borrell added that the decision of the ICJ court will have to be analyzed in more detail, including its impact on EU policies.

On Friday, the International Court of Justice (ICJ) said that; "the continued existence of the violent Israeli regime in the occupied Palestinian land is against the law", adding that the regime is "violating the law by continuing brutal attacks in the Gaza Strip and asking it to stop "as soon as possible" these inhumane attacks against of the oppressed people under siege in Gaza.

The brutal Israeli regime invaded and occupied the West Bank of the Jordan River, the Gaza Strip and the Holy East al-Quds, the areas that the Palestinians want for the creation of their future independent state, in the 1967 war.

The decision encourages all nations and international organizations, including the United Nations, (UN) "not to recognize as legitimate" the situation resulting from the illegal presence of the Israeli regime in the Palestinian land occupied by the Zionist regime.
