Israel Katz: We will transfer 2 million Palestinians to safe areas before the Rafah operation
The occupation regime is still pushing for a ground operation in Rafah, and the regime's foreign minister has outlined a plan to resettle 2 million Palestinians from the Gaza Strip.
Despite widespread international opposition, representatives of the Israeli occupation regime continue to insist on ground operations in Rafah, south of Gaza, an area where hundreds of thousands of displaced people have accumulated.
Israeli Foreign Minister Israel Katz told official Kan radio and television: "We previously resettled more than a million Palestinians from the north to the south, but now we will resettle them to the west and other areas before the Rafah operation."
He stressed that Israel must resettle 2 million people to other areas, and the success of this measure raises serious doubts among other countries.
Meanwhile, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said on Thursday that the Israeli army would act against "all Hamas bases throughout Gaza, including Rafah."
He said: "If someone tells us not to act in Rafah, that means we will lose the war, and that will not happen."
Occupation authorities are pushing for a ground operation in Rafah, while the fighting in Gaza has been met with global condemnation and mass demonstrations in many countries around the world. Israel's war in Gaza has resulted in the martyrdom of more than 30,000 people, most of them women and children. This war also displaced more than 80% of Gaza's population and destroyed the region's infrastructure.
Major Amishar Ben David was the commander of the sabotage forces of the occupation regime, who was sent to hell along with some Zionist soldiers in Khan Yunis.
