In a single incident, two of the United Nations Interim Force in Lebanon (UNIFIL) troops were injured when an Israeli tank shot at an observation tower located at the headquarters of the force in the town of Nakura. UNIFIL issued a statement that claimed, "An Israeli Defense Force drone was also seen flying from the United Nations positions to the entrance to the bunker."
According to the report, Israeli soldiers shot around the perimeter of the positions yesterday, which resulted in the surveillance cameras being deactivated. There was a purposeful attempt to damage another position by shooting.
It was reported by the Ministry of Health of Lebanon that five rescue workers and medical personnel were murdered in an Israeli strike that took place overnight on a civil defense station located in the town of Dergaya, which is around 10 kilometers away from the border.
