There was an attack by Zionists on United Nations peacekeeping forces in Lebanon.

According to Reuters, which cited the United Nations statement of peacekeeping troops, on Thursday, Zionists fired shells at two United Nations Interfaith Peacekeeping troops (UNIFIL) posts in southern Lebanon. On Wednesday, Israel began its onslaught against Hezbollah and issued an order to the Lebanese people that they should not return to their homes in the south.

In a single incident, two of the United Nations Interim Force in Lebanon (UNIFIL) troops were injured when an Israeli tank shot at an observation tower located at the headquarters of the force in the town of Nakura. The tank damaged the tower, which resulted in the soldiers falling to the ground. According to the source from the United Nations, there were no injuries as a result of the other two occurrences.

"Any deliberate attack against peacekeepers is a serious violation of international humanitarian law," the United Nations Interim Force in Lebanon (UNIFIL) warned in a published statement.

According to UNIFIL, Israeli forces also fired on United Nations positions at Ras Nakra, causing damage to the entrance to a bunker where peacekeepers were hiding, as well as to vehicles and communications infrastructure.

UNIFIL issued a statement that claimed, "An Israeli Defense Force drone was also seen flying from the United Nations positions to the entrance to the bunker."

According to the report, Israeli soldiers shot around the perimeter of the positions yesterday, which resulted in the surveillance cameras being deactivated. There was a purposeful attempt to damage another position by shooting.

It was reported by the Ministry of Health of Lebanon that five rescue workers and medical personnel were murdered in an Israeli strike that took place overnight on a civil defense station located in the town of Dergaya, which is around 10 kilometers away from the border.
