Those returning to Omdurman Sudan continue to be hit by missiles, hunger and disease

Karari areas in the city of Omdurman in the north of Sudan's capital, Khartoum, have been hit by yet another power struggle between the military generals leading two groups, the Rapid Support Forces (RSF) and the Armed Forces of Sudan (SAF).
These are areas that include markets with high traffic and other activities. They are areas that have more than 160 centers full of Sudanese who fled their homes due to the power-hungry war between military generals.
Those who return to those areas have never felt sure of their lives, as they are still hit by cannons again and again. Not only that, but also those people are suffering from hunger and various diseases due to the war disrupting all systems of safe life.
On Monday, at least 15 people were killed and 61 injured in an RSF artillery attack on the crowded Sabreen civilian market in Karari.
"This is the truth now. We are trying to live with the situation, but we are afraid to give up and run away again," said Mahmoud Satti, a teacher who returned to Omdurman after fleeing and living in central Sudan for a whole year.
And Saeed Al-Zubair, a 49-year-old resident of Omdurman Sudan, said: "There is a great increase in diseases while there is a great shortage of medicine, there are no nearby hospitals, and even those that are working have been bombed and looted."
