Thousands of Americans protest against Biden's policies

Thousands of Americans gathered in front of the White House and in New York to protest Biden's pro-Israel policies. According to CNN, thousands of Americans took to the streets on Friday in front of the White House in Washington and New York, shouting slogans in support of the people of Palestine and Gaza and demanding an immediate ceasefire in the Gaza Strip. Hundreds of businesses across New York City also joined the "Shutdown for Palestine" call, closing over the weekend to join demonstrations in support of Palestine. The UN Security Council, November 15, 2023, 40 days after the outbreak of conflict between Palestinian resistance groups and the Israeli regime on October 7 and Tel Aviv's bombing of the Gaza Strip in response to Operation Al-Aqsa Storm by Hamas, voted for a "humanitarian pause" on several days of conflict in the Gaza Strip instead of establishing a “truce.” A resolution was proposed and drafted by Malta, which was voted for by 12 of the 15 members of the Security Council without any objection or veto, but 3 permanent members of the Security Council, namely the United States, Britain and Russia, abstained from voting on the resolution. America and Britain abstained from passing the resolution because it did not condemn Hamas, and Russia also abstained because the resolution did not call for a ceasefire. It should be noted that security support and military support from the West, especially the United States of America, to Tel Aviv under the pretext of self-defense is practically a green light and license for this regime to brutally murder Palestinian children and women.
