Ukraine: Russia launched an intense missile attack on 4 regions as well as the capital Kiev
It was reported that Russia carried out intense missile attacks on Ukraine's capital Kiev, as well as Mikolaiv, Kharkiv, Dnipropetrovsk and Lviv regions.
Head of the Kiev City Military Administration, Sergey Popko, stated in his statement on the administration's social media account that Russia carried out a missile attack on Kiev for the third time since the beginning of the year. Pointing out that the air attack alarm lasted approximately 3 hours, Popko stated that the Russian army used X-101/Х-555/Х-55 cruise missiles in the attack. Noting that the missiles hit the capital in several waves from different directions, Popko said, "According to initial findings, as a result of the missile attack, a fire broke out in a multi-storey residential building and service station in Golosiyiv district. Cars were burned and power lines were damaged." he said. Kiev Mayor Vitaliy Klitchko also stated that 4 people died and at least 35 people were injured as a result of Russia's missile attacks on the capital today. On the other hand, Ukrainian Minister of Internal Affairs Igor Klimenko, in his statement on his social media account, stated that today the Russian army carried out intense missile attacks on the capital Kiev, as well as the Mikolaiv, Kharkiv, Dnipropetrovsk and Lviv regions.
