West Bank-Palestinian protests against settlements
Several Palestinians were injured by rubber-coated steel bullets or tear gas intoxication fired by the Israeli military as they violently dispersed protests against settlements in the northern part of the occupied West Bank.
Ghassan Daghlas, who monitors Israeli settlement activities in the northern West Bank, said settler/Jewish extremists, under the protection of occupation troops, raided the village of Qaryout, located 28 kilometers (17 miles) south -east of Nablus, triggering clashes with local residents.
Similar clashes erupted as Israeli forces cracked down on anti-settlement protests in the town of Beita and the village of Beit Dajan, south and east of Nablus.
