Millions of Yemenis took to the streets across the country to demonstrate their support for the Palestinians in the Gaza Strip, who have been under the bombs of the Zionist regime for five months. The demonstrations took place after Friday prayers in several cities in Yemen, the al-Masirah television network reported. “Participants affirmed firmness and determination in their position towards the Palestinian cause” of liberation from occupation and Israeli aggression, adds the source. Yemenis have demonstrated every Friday since October 7, 2023, when the regime began the genocidal war in Gaza in response to Operation Al-Aqsa Storm, a surprise offensive mounted by the Hamas resistance in the occupied territories.
