Zakzaky: US, France want to create enmity between Nigeria and Niger
The leader of the Islamic Movement of Nigeria (IMN) has warned about the conspiracy and evil being cooked up by the United States and France to sow the seeds of hatred, enmity and discord between Nigeria and its neighbor Niger. Sheikh Ibrahim Zakzaky gave this warning today Saturday while addressing the students of the Islamic Hauza in Abuja and explained that Washington and Paris are doing everything to create enmity between the two neighboring West African countries. Sheikh Zakzaky has explained that, "Despite Niger closing its airspace, but French planes are flying (in that airspace). France has continued to manage terrorist camps in Niger, and that is the source of attacks by Boko Haram terrorists who are affiliated with Daesh. "
The Islamic scholar in Nigeria has pointed out that the terrorists are carrying out attacks in parallel with stealing mineral resources such as gold and then sharing it with their masters. The leader of the Islamic Movement of Nigeria has emphasized that the terrorists may also be used to attack Abuja, so that Niamey is blamed and vice versa. "On that basis, any military action on the borders of the two countries (Nigeria and Niger) will be based on the engineering of the United States and France, and not Nigeria and Niger," said Sheikh Zakzaky. The prominent religious leader in Nigeria has said that the colonial powers may cause wars and ethnic conflicts in Niger, as they did in Sudan. Zakzaky's warning came after the Economic Community of West Africa (ECOWAS) said member states have agreed on military intervention in Niger, to restore President Mohammed Bazoum who was overthrown on July 26.
