Ayatollah Khamenei - Leader of the Revolution: Resilience and resistance are needed to face the enemies of the Islamic revolution

  The Supreme Leader of the Islamic Revolution, at a meeting with members of the National Congress of Remembrance of 3,400 Martyrs of Ardabil Province, in northwestern Iran, said that the only way to resist the enemies of the Islamic Revolution is steadfastness and resistance. His Highness Ayatollah Khamenei, at a meeting held on August 13, pointed out the role of martyrdom in untying knots and eliminating problems, especially over 8 years of holy defense, and emphasized: “The main way to deal with the hybrid, economic, political war of the enemies of the Islamic Revolution is to continuation of the path of the martyrs and the practice of drawing lessons from their deeds, i.e. jihad and resistance.

Ayatollah Khamenei called it an important task to preserve and consolidate the path of the martyrs and transfer the results of their practical life to the younger generation and added: “We were contemporaries of the martyrs, we saw how their jihad, self-sacrifice and martyrdom untied the knots and resolved the problems ahead of the authorities, but the younger generation , it does not see it with the clarity that we observed, so each of the ulema, intellectuals, academics and government officials should play a role in this according to their position. The Supreme Leader of the Islamic Revolution, referring to the verses of the Qur'an, pointed to the exalted status of martyrs in the eyes of God and to receiving special support from God, and added: "God blesses the blood of martyrs, and the highest and most obvious example of this is the blood of His Grace Aba Abdullah (Imam Hussein )(DBM).

May the event in Karbala remain alive in history and day by day the love for this Prophet will increase among Muslims and even non-Muslims. Ayatollah Khamenei highlighted the rapturous celebration of the first decade of Muharram this year, despite the efforts of the enemies to make it less colorful, as well as the glorious procession of Arbaeen, as examples of how God values the blood of the martyrs of Karbala, and stressed the need to preserve and stabilize the path and blood of the martyrs.
