Zionist forces order the demolition of a mosque
AL QUDS-The Israeli Occupation Forces (IOF) issued a demolition order against a mosque in Badia Yatta, south of al-Khalil, on Tuesday morning. The coordinator of the National and Popular Committees for the Resistance to the Wall and the Settlements (of the Palestinian Authority), Ratib Jabbur, quoted by Infopal, said in a note to the media, that the occupation forces handed over to the Palestinians of the Khashm community ad-Daraj a notice of demolition of the "Bilal bin Rabah" Mosque, and gave them one week to file opposition against the measure. The mosque is frequented by Palestinian citizens living in different communities in Masafer Yatta. The area of the mosque is about 150 square meters and serves several population centers in Badia and Masafer Yatta. In 2022, around 15 mosques were attacked by Israeli occupation forces and settlers in the occupied West Bank and Jerusalem.
