Zionist Settlers Attack Palestinian Schools in the West Bank
Israeli settlers attacked a Palestinian school in the West Bank that was previously threatened with destruction by the Israeli army. The Zionist regime's army seeks to confiscate Palestinian land and build settlements in it to launch Judaization. According to the official Palestinian news agency (Wafa), the Israeli settlers attacked the Ras al-Tin school east of Ramallah, which is located in the center of the West Bank, and broke its windows and destroyed its contents. According to this report, this school is located in a Palestinian area on the land of the villages of Kafr Malik, Kharba Abu Falah and Al-Maghir east of Ramallah which was built in 2020.
In October 2020, the authorities of the Zionist regime decided to demolish this school under the pretext that the school it is in an area which is under full control of the Zionist regime and construction is prohibited there. The Zionist regime cabinet intensified approval of settlement plans in West Bank areas and approval of new settlement construction in the first half of this year. In the first half of 2023, the Israeli occupation regime has agreed to build 12,855 new Israeli housing units in occupied West Bank settlements. Yet according to international law, the construction of settlements by the Zionist regime on Palestinian land is illegal and these settlements must be stopped. But the Zionist regime ignores it. (PH)
