Hamas Condemns Herzog's Attendance at UAE Climate Change Conference
The Palestinian Islamic Resistance Movement (Hamas) condemned the participation of the President of the Israeli Zionist regime, Isaac Herzog, at the International Climate Change Conference held in the United Arab Emirates (UAE).
The annual UN climate change summit (COP28) was held on Wednesday (29/11/2023) in Dubai, UAE. Among the objectives of this two-week meeting, which was attended by around 70 thousand invitees, was to evaluate previous agreements to control global warming. According to a report by the Palestinian News Agency, SAMA, Hamas Friday (1/12/2023) stated in its statement that Israel attended this summit when its military committed horrific crimes and genocide against the Palestinian people, especially in the Gaza Strip. Iran's presidential delegation led by the energy minister reportedly left the location of the International Climate Change Summit (COP28) in protest at the presence of Israeli criminal regime officials. Simultaneously with the presence of the Israeli president in the UAE to attend the International Climate Change Summit, a new wave of Israeli attacks on Palestinians in the Gaza Strip began, and Tel Aviv again committed crimes against this oppressed people.
