UNRWA says, ``After some of our agency's staff were released from the prisons of the Israeli regime responsible for the genocide, they were told by the authorities that ``UNRWA has ties to the Palestinian Islamic resistance movement Hamas, and its staff were "I was forced to make a false statement that I was involved in the attack (in Israeli-occupied territory) on September 7," the report said.

UNRWA spokesperson Juliet Thoma said, ``Israeli torture of UNRWA personnel includes beatings, waterboarding, and threats of harm to their families.''

A few months ago, Israel accused 12 UNRWA officials in the Gaza Strip of collaborating with Hamas during the start of the Palestinian resistance group's anti-Zionist operation, Aqsa Storm. The EU and 18 other countries have also used the same pretext to suspend funding to the agency, without providing any evidence to substantiate the Israeli regime's claims.

The EU's High Representative for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy, Josep Borrell, responded to the withdrawal of aid by saying, ``The Israeli regime hopes to be freed from UNRWA within the next few years,'' and ``Netanyahu-Israel. "While he won't listen to anyone, the Prime Minister is asking everyone to believe his claims without any evidence and turn a blind eye to respecting international law."

Last week, the Israeli regime again claimed, without providing any evidence, that "more than 450 members of the Palestinian resistance are active in UNRWA."

UNRWA has approximately 13,000 staff stationed in the Gaza Strip and is considered the largest aid agency in the Gaza Strip.

Sima Bajos, Director-General of the United Nations Women's Agency (UN Women), revealed that more than 9,000 women have been martyred in attacks carried out by the Israeli Zionist regime in the Gaza Strip over the past five months.

"Peace in Gaza is not possible without justice for all victims," Bajos said, stressing the need for an immediate ceasefire and humanitarian assistance in Gaza.

Meanwhile, UNRWA, the United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees, announced in a statement on International Women's Day that an average of 63 women are martyred every day in Gaza.
